A map of your own mind.

I build knowledge graphs and AI systems for a living. A while ago I turned the same method on myself: every topic I think about became a node, related topics became clusters, and how central something is to me became how close it sits to the core.

Seeing my own head from the outside told me things I could not get to from the inside - what I had far more of than I thought, what I claimed mattered but never actually appeared, and what turned out to be holding everything up. This is that tool, plus the method for building your own.

The live map

On a phone this works best full screen.

This is my own map, running in your browser. Drag it around. Zoom toward a cluster and the individual topics fade in. What you are buying is the engine and the method behind it, not this content - you fill it with your own.

What you get

The map itself

One self-contained HTML file. Double-click it and it opens - no install, no account, no internet needed. The code is unminified and yours to change.

The framework

The part that actually takes work: how to inventory what is in your head, how to cluster it, and - the hard one - how to rank what is central honestly. Four passes, with the questions that break ties.

A worksheet

The prompts with room to answer, for doing the first pass on paper before you touch a file. Paper works better here; you edit yourself less when editing is expensive.

A blank template

The file arrives as a starter structure with prompts, not as my map. You are building yours from the first minute.

How it works

  1. 01

    Dump

Everything you actually think about, 100-200 items, no structure and no editing. The editing is what turns it into the version of yourself you would like to be.

  2. 02

    Cluster and rank

Group it into 8-14 categories, then put them in order of how central they are. The order is the whole mechanic - and it is the pass that teaches you something.

  3. 03

    Build and look

Paste your categories into the file, save, reload. Then look at it and be surprised. Most people move at least two categories after seeing it rendered.

What this is

  • A tool for getting your own thinking out of your head and onto a surface you can walk around.
  • A method you can repeat - on yourself in six months, or on someone you work with.
  • Yours for good. It runs offline, from a folder on your computer, forever.

What this is not

  • Not therapy, not diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from someone qualified.
  • Not my map. You get the engine and the method; the content is yours to write.
  • Not an app. There is no account, no sync and no subscription - it is a file you own.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You edit a list of words in a text editor - the same skill as filling in a form. If you can change a title and save the file, you can build your whole map.
What do I need installed?
A browser. That is the whole list. three.js is bundled into the file, so it works offline and keeps working if some CDN somewhere disappears.
Does it work on a phone?
The map renders and rotates on a phone, but building yours means editing a file - do that part on a computer.
Can I use this with clients?
Yes. If you coach, teach or run workshops, you can build maps for the people you work with and hand them their finished file. What you may not do is resell the package itself. Full terms are in the licence.
Can I post the map I make?
Please do. The maps you make are yours, no credit needed - though it is always nice.
What if it does not work for me?
Email me and I will refund you. It is a $4.99 file, not an argument worth having.
